Yes you are doing the right thing. I started by saving all one dollar bills for the yr. Which was between $1250 one yr and then $1675 the next yr. So I needed to challenge myself more and started the $5 challenge and worked my way to the 100 dlrs envelope challenge. I have completed it 2 times already. It really teaches you to be very disciplined. You will soon find yourself not wanting to go out to eat cuz you want to really finish the 100 dlrs challenge. Good luck on your journey!

This is an awesome video. I do this as well. Mine is like $1700 Month. For 1 month ahead. I start at the lowest expense to the highest. I'm doing pretty good. I can't find the link for the white out pens.

Hi, I am in Australia it took me 5 years to pay off $5000 of credit. Paying off just the min only pays off the interest, not the principal I had to learn this the hard way. My suggestion is to get rid of all your credit cards except one with a limit Yes I know this seems impossible but you will only keep getting in debt if you don't change your money habits also condense all your cards at a reduced interest rate this will save you heaps. I hope this helps it is hard but worth it in the end

I’m curious as to why you didn’t add the carryover money to the next paycheck tracker. You have money in the bank to cover some of the fixed expenses that you listed, but you didn’t note that anywhere. 🤔 #mathgeek

First off I think this is a great video with excellent information for budgeting. However, I disagree with/1 thing you stated about “millionaires routine” you stated “this is a broke man’s routine.” Well, reason I disagree with you is because the first thing the millionaire did was CHANGE THEIR MINDSET. If you stay in broke energy you will remain in that energy. That is all…. Thanks.
